Sandra Cushman

Sandra rejoined Mardo, Lachapelle & Palumbo, LLP in 2011 after spending several years teaching Secondary English for the Cranston and Warwick School Districts. Sandra is a paraprofessional and has worked in accounting for many years. She is experienced and knowledgeable in taxes, accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping. Sandra also maintains a management role in the firm.
Sandra has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Providence College and maintained a teaching license for the State of Rhode Island.

Melissa Johnson
Senior Accountant
Melissa joined Mardo, Lachapelle & Palumbo, LLP in 2018. Prior to that, she spent over ten years in the private industry as an Accountant. She graduated from Rhode Island College with her B.S. in Accounting.
She currently assists Stephen M. Cushman with a variety of responsibilities including, private company audits, compilation and review engagements, corporate, partnership, individual, estate, trust, and various tax matters.
Melissa is currently certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides training as needed.

Administrative Assistant
Talia joined Mardo, Lachapelle & Palumbo, LLP in 2018 and she holds an administrative assistant position.
Talia performs various administrative and accounting responsibilities and she has a bright future with the firm.
